Evaluation
Funders and communities both need to know that nonprofits are making a difference. Mosaica helps organizations evaluate the perceived value and quality of their programs as well as longer-term outcomes and community impact. For example, Mosaica has evaluated City at Peace, a youth program that uses theater to foster multicultural understanding. Staff have also evaluated three programs of the Alliance for Justice, including its Co/Motion Program, which involves youth in efforts to reduce gun violence, and its Foundation and Nonprofit Advocacy Programs, which encourage funding for nonprofit advocacy and an understanding of the laws governing legislative advocacy by tax-exempt organizations.
