Hilary Binder-Aviles: Senior Specialist and Director of Immigrant and Refugee Programs. Coordinates all training and organizational development consultation to emerging immigrant and refugee groups and other small nonprofits. Manages capacity-building assignments with youth-oriented and other small nonprofits east of the Anacostia River. Involved in research, evaluation, and training on nonprofit advocacy, with special expertise on youth advocacy. Before joining Mosaica, over ten years of experience working on children, youth, and family issues. Co-founder of Sol y Soul, a DC-based organization that uses the arts as a tool for community engagement and youth development. Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Wellesley College; Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government, with a focus on social policy. Fluent in Spanish.
